Der „Etsy-Fluch“ – warum Tabletop Elements jetzt einen eigenen Shop hat

The "Etsy Curse" – why Tabletop Elements now has its own shop

From one day to the next – without warning, without reason, without explanation – I was locked out of my Etsy seller account.
No email, no notification. Just the brief explanation: “Suspicious activity on the account.”

What happened?
I had just increased my advertising budget to take my small business a step further. And then – bam – suddenly everything was gone. No access, no sales, no contact person.

Of course, I immediately contacted support. But there: silence. Automated replies, no help, no interest. It’s like talking to a wall.

And the worst part: I am not alone.
By now, thousands of other sellers report the same fate – the so-called “Etsy curse.” People who lose their livelihood overnight because an opaque, automated system decided that something is “suspicious.”

Etsy remains silent. No clarification, no responsibility, not a word.

Just to be clear:
I did nothing wrong. I was not hacked. I simply had bad luck that an algorithm put my account on the blacklist – and Etsy apparently doesn’t care.

But from every setback, something new grows.
That’s why Tabletop Elements is now going its own way – with its own online shop.
Independent, direct, fair, and with the same passion for miniatures that you know and love.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support despite everything – you are the reason it goes on.

Thank you
- Maik
