Vampiric Yeti
Flesh of Gods – Crimson Frost | January 2025
“In my long life as a soldier, I have seen many horrors. But I have never heard a growl like that of this creature. The Vampiric Yeti seemed to relish the slaughter – the cracking of bones, the blood in the snow. In that moment, I laid down my sword. Since then, I have only waited for the day such a monster tears down my door.”
– Maurkham, veteran of the royal guard
Deep in the icy expanses of the Winterlands lurks a creature whose very existence blurs the line between beast, monster, and nightmare: the Vampiric Yeti. Once a mighty being of the frozen mountains, it was corrupted by the dark forces of Crimson Frost and transformed into a bloodthirsty hunter of the night.
This massive beast roams the snowy forests and glaciers in search of prey. Its unnatural growl echoes through the frosty darkness, while its claws effortlessly tear through even armored foes. But the horror does not end with the fight – the Vampiric Yeti seems to feed on the fear and blood of its victims.
Stories about this creature spread like a cold wind through the villages of the Winterlands. Travelers report blood-red snow, broken bones in the ice, and two dead, empty eyes waiting in the darkness for their next prey.
When the Crimson Frost sweeps across the land, the Vampiric Yeti is one of the cruelest signs that the night of monsters has begun.
